Joey Plaster is an independent scholar, oral historian, radio documentarian, and freelance journalist. He is Project Director of the Polk Street Oral History Project , Oberlin College History Project, and Director of the GLBTHS Oral History Program. A graduate of Oberlin College, where he studied history and music, he has experience at The Nation, Alternet, SF Bay Guardian, and Z Magazine.
